Neutral Grounding Resistor is used to avoid damages and disturbances due to the ground faults. Resistor is fitted between the neutral of a Generator or a Transformer and the Earth / Ground (explained below in the schematic diagram) to limit this current and giving protection devices enough time to react. This also produces a value that is sufficiently low to prevent damaging fault currents to the power generation, distribution and other associated equipments, yet high enough to operate clearing relays.

Resistor grids are formed in Punched Stainless, Wire Wound, Formed Stainless Steel and Edge Wound design; these elements are provided with mica or ceramic insulator of suitable voltage rating.

Load Resistors are used as dummy loads for testing circuit breakers and high frequency radio transmitter systems, generators, transformers and batteries etc. Portable and trailer mounted Load Banks are manufactured as per Customer's Requirement.

Load Banks having different steps of resistance can be supplied alongwith associated Control Panels to switch on resistance value as required to test different capacities of generators / transformers with the same load banks.

Discharge resistors are used to discharge the capacitors, reactors, batteries super conductive magnetic coils etc. Besides their voltage strength, high-energy consumption is of major importance for discharge resistors.

A choice of various resistor alloys with different thermal properties, which can influence the discharge process, is also available as per client’s requirement

Dynamic Braking is a form of Electrical Braking and for this purpose the Resistance used across the motor armature is called Dynamic Braking Resistor.

For applying Dynamic Braking the motor is disconnected from the supply, the field connection are reverse and the motor is connected with a resistor hence the machine would run as a generator

These are used for voltage metering and generator protection. Cubicle house potential transformers, lightning arrestor and surge capacitors along with its associated bus bar assembly.
